Hi,
I'm Sarah
Where precision meets presence
I'm Sarah. Former MedTech engineer, coach and facilitator, mother of three. I left my field in 2024, not because anything went wrong, but because I finally slowed down enough to notice that my internal compass had shifted direction. I know from my own life what it costs to keep performing across multiple roles when something important is going unasked. That's what I listen for in my clients.
Engineered for insight
For over twenty years I worked as an engineer and project manager in the medical device industry. It wasn't a random choice. My mother's battle with cancer meant hospitals and medical devices were very present during my final years of school. I wanted to build things that made people's lives better. That shaped how I think: always with the human on the other end in mind. The engineer in me never left. She just found a different kind of system to work with. Back then, the systems served humans. Now, the system is human.
How I work
I work with people the way I worked with complex systems: root cause analysis, not a software workaround. That means listening past what you're saying to what you're actually carrying. Not just what your mind is telling you, but what your gut already knows and what your heart hasn't quite said out loud yet. The analytical and the human aren't separate in how I work. They converge. The clarity that comes out of a session isn't the end point. It's the blueprint.
Who I work with
My clients are capable people who are functioning well on the outside and aware that something needs to be thought through properly. They're not in crisis. They're overdue for a check-in. I work with individuals one-to-one, and with organisations through coaching and facilitation. In both contexts the work is the same: helping people find their own clarity, then build something with it.
A global perspective
I was born in the Philippines, studied in Australia, and have called Freiburg, Germany home since 2007. I coach in English and German, with clients across Europe, Asia, and Australia. Having navigated complexity across borders, cultures, and industries, I understand what it means to hold multiple identities at once and still know who you are.
Beyond coaching
I'm someone who finds joy in movement: hiking, climbing, dancing, tango. I live in Freiburg with my husband and our three boys. One of my favourite ways to slow down is to look up and watch the sky through the leaves of trees. I think that says something about how I work too.
